What is ‘babywearing’?
Babywearing is the practice of keeping our little ones physically and emotionally close to us using baby carriers. We make five different styles of baby carriers and give you lots of options to ensure that each family can find a carrier that suits their unique needs.
Why should I use a baby carrier?
Babies who are held physically close to their parents and other caregivers are calmer and more relaxed. Baby carriers can thus help relieve some of the stress of the early months, and they promote gentle, relaxed bonding with the newest addition to the family.
Soul baby carriers are also designed to encourage breastfeeding and help a new mother to feed comfortably and conveniently.
How do I breastfeed in your carriers?
All our carrier manuals come with an explanation of how to breastfeed in them. Put simply, you loosen the carrier a little, enough to lower your child to comfortable feeding position. Always remember to re-position your child to an upright and kissable position afterwards.
Can I wear my newborn?
Newborns thrive on being held close! Being upright can help tiny babies deal with gas and reflux too. We recommend our ring slings and woven wraps for newborns. If you prefer buckles, Soul AseemA & AnoonA is an extremely versatile and adjustable carrier that will suit your baby from birth to toddlerhood.
Do you have carriers for bigger children?
Our carriers are generously sized and designed to comfortably support children of varying sizes. We recommend you go by the sizing guidelines provided in individual product listings to ensure that you get the carrier that is perfect for your family.
What materials are your products made of?
All our products use 100% pure natural fibres (cotton, linen) only. Our sling rings, buckles, strap webbing, snaps etc. are suited for baby carriers and are among the best available for their purpose.
Should I buy linen, cotton or cotton jacquard?
Buy the fabric that suits your needs and your tastes. All our fabrics are made of 100% pure natural fibres and are easy to care for. They feel airy and comfortable in hot and humid climates.
How can I get some help with my Soul carrier?
You will find detailed instructions for use and maintenance in the manual that came with your product. In addition, we have extensive video tutorials for each of our carriers on YouTube . You can also visit your local Soul Family Facebook group to interact with users around you.
How do I clean my Soul product?
All Soul products can be cleaned by hand or machine. For comparatively delicate items like Soft Souls or carriers with buckles/rings/long straps you may wish to use a laundry bag (or a pillowcase with its mouth tied closed) to minimize wear and tear during the washing process. We recommend you use gentle detergent without optical brighteners and tumble dry low, or line dry in the shade to protect the colours.

My baby or I have health issues. Can we use your carriers?
Our carriers are designed to offer natural, ergonomic support to you and your child. The child will typically sit within the carrier with their knees drawn higher than their bottom and hands to their sides, mimicking their natural position when held in your arms. In addition, our carriers fit a wide range of adult bodies from petite to plus-sizes. We recommend you take advice from your medical practitioner for your specific needs before using baby carriers.
Can you customize a carrier for my exact requirements?
Unfortunately, we cannot accept custom orders. However, we do welcome feedback and try to improve our new product offerings based on your inputs!.

Can I have my order shipped to a different address?
Your order can be shipped ONLY to the address you provide during checkout, as long as your account, shopping website and the shipping address are in the same country. For logistical reasons, we cannot ship your order to a different country from the one in your account.
How can I try your products before purchase?
We do not rent out carriers or accessories. However, many carrier libraries around the world do have Soul products for trial or rent. You can request for information on local libraries on your local Soul Family Facebook group
The product I want is out of stock, when will it return?
Our limited edition products are made in small batches for discerning buyers. They are sometimes the product of collaborations with other brands and tend to sell out fast, so if you like one, please get it right away. Limited edition products are rarely if ever, restocked.

If your order was not confirmed for any reason, the money will be automatically returned to your bank account within 7-10 working days. If you do not receive the money within this time please email us at email@example.com with a screenshot of your payment.
I just placed my order, when will it reach me?
Once an order is paced, we wait for 24 hours before dispatching. After dispatch, generally, it takes 3-5 business days.
What are your hours of operation?
Our working hours are 9 am to 5 pm, Monday-Friday Indian Standard Time (IST). If you have messaged our social media pages or emailed us, please allow us up to 48 hours to read, process and respond to your query.

Please keep in mind that we (and our shipping partners) will need a certain amount of time to process, ship and reach your order to you.
